Wiz Khalifa lends his presence to the Gap’s new campaign.
The Gap has a new advertising campaign out and they’re getting the help of one of hip-hop’s realest personalities.
According to ELLE, the Gap have released a new video short entitled “Bridging the Gap,” which uses the basic T-shirt to visually unify a diverse cast of 14 that includes Wiz Khalifa, Priyanka Chopra, Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson and model Christie Brinkley. They all model those classic white tops and sing-along to “Sunny” by Boney M.
“This project is about authenticity and people living their truths,” said Edward Enninful, who is the creative brains behind the campaign. “I love the optimistic American style that Gap celebrates and the simplicity of the basic white T-shirt that allows you to be yourself.”
