Fetty Wap is a very unique rap artist, who appeared out of thin air a few months ago. With his new sound he also stamped and branded his autotuney placement of the words “REMY BOYS” & “1738”. Well now Eric Vallat Ceo of Remy Martin Liquor has spoken out against the Remy Boyz Campaign!
According to Allhiphop.com: Remy Martin, founded in 1724, has suffered a big loss in liquor sales following the release of Fetty Wap’s hit single “Trap Queen”. In a recent interview Eric Vallat stated
It’s not like, we at Remy dislikes hip hop music. We actually are big advocators of Real emcee’s like Jay’ Z, Kanye West, and Will Smith. We just feel like Fetty Wap is not a Real rapper. Especially when we heard his music without the voice enhancers, It was terrible. We just want to apologize for the horrific misrepresentation of our brand and we will be taking legal action to recoup our losses.
Fetty Wap hasn’t responded to the companies threats of a lawsuit.
