Nobody is more open about their love for strippers than Drake. The rapper who told you he goes to the infamous Houston club Dreams “with a suitcase” does not mess around when it comes to enjoying himself at the club.

Just like anybody else, Drake has his preferences when it comes to his lady friends, and during a Houston Appreciation Weekend event on Friday, he took his love for a trio of famous dancers to a whole ‘nother level.
As documented in the Snapchat story of Lira Mercer—otherwise known by her stage name, Lira Galore—Drake commissioned a jersey retirement ceremony for Mercer, Miracle Watts, and Maliah Michel, raising their names to the rafters.
As if the jerseys weren’t ridiculous enough, there were other sports-themed elements of the presentation, including a replica of the NBA’s Larry O’Brien Trophy, awarded to the NBA champion following the Finals each year.
Although some of you out there will be quick to call the move corny or over the top, it was certainly a hit with the ladies in question. After showing off a bag of gifts from what appeared to be Louis Vuitton, Mercer shouted out Drake from her Twitter page, in addition to sharing a picture of her smooching the Toronto native.
Wow , made strip club history tonight. Got in , got out .. STILL relevant 🤷🏽♀️S/O to the BOY !! @Drake

The women in question are fairly well-known in Houston, and Drake has gone so far as to mention them by name during some of his older music.
On “Miss Me” from his Thank Me Later project, Michel got the honor of a name-drop when Drake rapped, “I’m in the city of the purple Sprite, someone tell Maliah I’m on fire, she should work tonight.” She would later go on to star as the love interest in the “Find Your Love” video off the same project, and was rumored to be dating Drake for a time in 2010. Watts got a shout of her own during his song “2 On / Thotful” with OB O’Brien, with the rapper telling Miracle to, “sit your ass right here mane.”
When you have the type of cash to splash that Drake does, the relationships go a little further than the typical client-dancer experience you might get at your local club. I wouldn’t attempt to do this at your favorite haunt, however, lest you want to get served an ejection from the club and a stack of restraining order papers.
